Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 small slider buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Big Mac-style sauce (mix 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 tablespoon sweet relish, and a dash of mustard)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly seasoned.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
  3. Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through to your liking.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a quarter slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.
  5. While the cheese is melting, toast the slider buns on the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the sliders by spreading a tablespoon of Big Mac sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  7. Place the cooked cheeseburger patty on the sauce, followed by a sprinkle of shredded lettuce, pickles, and a few chopped onions.
  8. Cap each slider with the top half of the bun and press down gently.
  9. Serve warm with extra Big Mac sauce on the side for dipping.
