Mini Football Buffalo Chicken Calzones Delicious Game Snack
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 0.5 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (about 1 pound)
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated and combined.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut the dough into circles using a large cookie cutter or a cup (about 4-5 inches in diameter).
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the buffalo chicken mixture on one half of each dough circle, leaving a border around the edge for sealing.
- Fold the other half of the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Press down the edges to seal it tightly, then crimp with a fork for a decorative design.
- Place the calzones on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve the calzones with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
