No Bake Almond Butter Cookies Tasty and Easy Treat
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter (smooth)
- 1 quarter cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 half cup rolled oats
- 1 half cup shredded coconut
- 1 quarter cup ground flaxseed
- 1 half teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 quarter cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 pinch sea salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the rolled oats, shredded coconut, ground flaxseed, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- If desired, fold in the dark chocolate chips for a sweet touch.
- Use your hands or a spoon to form the mixture into small balls or flatten them into cookie shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the cookies to firm up.
- Once set, remove the cookies from the fridge and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
