No Bake Peanut Butter Balls Easy and Tasty Snack
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 0.5 cup natural peanut butter
- 0.25 cup honey or maple syrup
- 0.5 cup ground flaxseed
- 0.25 cup mini chocolate chips
- 0.25 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- a pinch salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, and salt. Stir well to mix the dry ingredients.
- In another bowl, mix together the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir everything together until fully combined. You may find it easier to use your hands to mix.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and shredded coconut until evenly distributed.
- Once the mixture is well combined, use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
- Once all the mixture is rolled into balls, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature, and enjoy a delicious, nutritious snack!
