One-Pot Philly Cheesesteak Pasta Skillet Easy Comfort Meal
Ingredients
- 8 oz rotini or penne pasta
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (sirloin or flank steak)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 2 grated Parmesan cheese
- for garnish fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced beef. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell peppers. Cook for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften, then add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the skillet, then add the pasta. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, followed by the Worcestershire sauce. Stir everything together, ensuring the pasta is submerged in the liquid.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has absorbed.
- Once the pasta is cooked, remove the skillet from heat and stir in the provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your delicious One-Pot Philly Cheesesteak Pasta Skillet!
