Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (16 oz)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1/2-inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into strips approximately 1 inch wide and 6 inches long.
  4. Take each strip and tie it into a knot, tucking the ends underneath to secure it. Place knots on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until well blended.
  6. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each knot.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the knots, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  8. Bake the knots in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Once baked, remove from the oven and brush with any remaining garlic butter for extra flavor.
  10. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
