Peanut Butter Cup Blondies Divine and Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini peanut butter cups, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, creamy peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped mini peanut butter cups, ensuring an even distribution throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (a few crumbs are okay).
- Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper (if used). Then cool completely on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
