Peanut Butter Protein Balls Simple and Tasty Snack
Ingredients
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- 0.5 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 0.5 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
- 0.25 cup ground flaxseed
- 0.25 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- 0.25 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the natural peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth and well blended.
- Add the rolled oats, protein powder, ground flaxseed, and a pinch of salt into the peanut butter mixture, stirring until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- If using, fold in the mini chocolate chips and shredded coconut for added texture and sweetness.
- Once the mixture is combined, use your hands to form small balls (about the size of a tablespoon) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Once all the mixture is rolled into balls, refrigerate for at least an hour to firm them up.
- After they’ve cooled and set, transfer to an airtight container for storage, where they can be kept in the fridge for up to two weeks.
