Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (16 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 4 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, roughly 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into squares, approximately 3 inches by 3 inches.
  4. Place a slice of pepperoni and a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling, pinching them together to form a secure packet or bomb.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture on top of each dough ball.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the tops of the pizza bombs for added flavor.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed up.
  9. While the bombs are baking, warm the pizza sauce in a small saucepan for dipping.
  10. Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
