Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups biscuit or crescent roll dough
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pour the chicken and vegetable mixture evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the chicken mixture.
  5. Roll out the biscuit or crescent roll dough and cut it into pieces. Place the dough pieces evenly over the cheese layer.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve in individual bowls garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color. Enjoy with a side salad for a complete meal!
