Quick and Delicious Chicken Pot Pie Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups biscuit or crescent roll dough
- to taste salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pour the chicken and vegetable mixture evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the chicken mixture.
- Roll out the biscuit or crescent roll dough and cut it into pieces. Place the dough pieces evenly over the cheese layer.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
