Savory Slow Cooker Potatoes with Lipton Onion Soup Mix
Ingredients
- 2 pounds baby potatoes, washed and halved
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the baby potatoes with the olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, and black pepper. Mix well until the potatoes are evenly coated.
- In the slow cooker, pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup Mix over the top. Stir to combine.
- Add the seasoned potatoes into the slow cooker, ensuring they are submerged in the broth as much as possible.
- Cover the slow cooker with the lid and set it on low heat. Cook for 6-7 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are fork-tender.
- Once cooked, give the potatoes a gentle stir to coat them in the flavorful broth.
- Transfer the potatoes to a serving dish, and sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish before serving.
