Savory Stuffed Seafood Bread Bowl Recipe to Try
Ingredients
- 1 large sourdough bread loaf
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, diced
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.25 cup chopped green onions
- 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully hollow out the inside of the sourdough bread loaf, leaving about 1-inch thick walls. Save the removed bread to use as dippers later.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked shrimp and crab meat.
- Add the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, mozzarella cheese, green onions, and parsley to the seafood.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, then mix until well combined and creamy.
- Spoon the seafood mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl, packing it in gently.
- Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Once out of the oven, allow the bread bowl to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Cut the reserved bread into bite-sized pieces and arrange them around the stuffed bread bowl on a large platter. Garnish the bowl with additional parsley and lemon wedges for a fresh touch.
