Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup cooked turkey, shredded
  • 1 2 cranberry sauce
  • 1 2 cream cheese, softened
  • 1 4 chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 2 salt
  • 1 4 black pepper
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 to taste fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it out on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Do not separate the triangles yet.
  4. Arrange the dough in a circle, overlapping the wide ends and making a 6-inch diameter ring, leaving the pointed ends of the dough pieces hanging off the edge of the baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the turkey and cranberry mixture evenly over the wide ends of the crescent roll dough.
  6. Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling and tuck them under the ring, sealing in the mixture.
  7. Brush the beaten egg over the top of the dough to give it a golden color while baking.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
