Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or spatula.
  2. Add the lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and cayenne pepper, and mix until well incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped shrimp, ensuring they are evenly distributed in the mixture.
  4. Add the chopped green onions and parsley, mixing until they are just combined.
  5. Lastly, fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, saving a small amount for topping if desired.
  6. Transfer the shrimp dip into a serving bowl and smooth out the top. If you saved some cheese, sprinkle it on top for added flavor and presentation.
  7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld together.
