Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 0.5 cup crushed graham crackers (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together using an electric mixer until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed graham crackers, reserving a handful of each for topping.
  7. Pour the cookie dough into a greased cast-iron skillet, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  8. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows and reserved chocolate chips and graham crackers on top of the dough.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the skillet warm, straight from the oven, with extra marshmallows on the side for a toasty effect. Consider drizzling with chocolate sauce or topping with whipped cream for added indulgence!
