S’mores Cookie Skillet Delightful and Easy Dessert
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
- 0.25 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 0.5 cup crushed graham crackers (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together using an electric mixer until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until fully combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed graham crackers, reserving a handful of each for topping.
- Pour the cookie dough into a greased cast-iron skillet, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the mini marshmallows and reserved chocolate chips and graham crackers on top of the dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
