Spicy Cajun Roasted Chickpeas Crunchy and Flavorful Snack
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- to taste none salt
- for garnish none fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean kitchen towel, gently pat the chickpeas dry to remove excess moisture.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well until the chickpeas are evenly coated in the spices.
- Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
