Ingredients

  • 4 cups mixed greens (arugula, spinach, and romaine)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted and roughly chopped
  • 0.5 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 0.25 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens and sliced strawberries.
  2. Add the toasted pecans and crumbled feta cheese on top of the greens and strawberries.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinaigrette, honey, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine all the ingredients without bruising the strawberries.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt or pepper if needed.
  6. Let the salad sit for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
