Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh baby spinach, washed and dried
  • 1.5 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 0.5 cup crumbled goat cheese
  • 0.25 cup walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
  • 0.25 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large salad bowl, combine the baby spinach, sliced strawberries, red onion, and toasted walnuts.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese on top of the salad.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, tossing lightly again if needed.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the salad on a large platter, garnished with additional strawberries and walnut halves for added elegance.
