Stuffed Salmon Delight Fresh and Flavorful Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 fillets salmon (6 oz each)
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 2 cream cheese, softened
- 1 4 feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- as needed fresh lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, feta cheese, chopped spinach, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill weed, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on a cutting board, skin-side down. Use a sharp knife to make a pocket in each fillet by slicing horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Carefully stuff each salmon fillet with the cheese and spinach mixture, packing it in gently.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Carefully place the stuffed salmon fillets in the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Flip the salmon fillets over and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh lemon slices on top and serve warm.
💡 Chef's Notes
Arrange the stuffed salmon on a plate with a side of sautéed vegetables or a fresh garden salad. Drizzle a little extra olive oil over the dish and add a sprig of dill for an extra touch of elegance.
