Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface, and press seams together to form a rectangle.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, encasing the filling.
  7. Slice the roll into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter for a golden finish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
