Ingredients
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface, and press seams together to form a rectangle.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the chopped strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, encasing the filling.
- Slice the roll into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
