Texas Roadhouse Roadkill Hearty Meat Delight Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 0.5 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 0.5 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- optional fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, and sauté until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and continue to cook until they are tender and any moisture has evaporated, about 4-5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Shape the beef mixture into two large patties.
- Push the cooked veggie mixture to the side of the skillet and place the patties in the center. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty, allowing it to melt.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a serving plate, topped with the sautéed veggies.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
