Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, and walnuts (if using) until evenly distributed.
  7. Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet (or an oven-safe skillet) with cooking spray or a bit of extra butter.
  8. Pour the cookie dough into the skillet and spread it evenly to the edges.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is just set but still soft.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
