Ingredients

  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced into Hasselback style
  • 1 ripe peach diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 0.5 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the kielbasa into Hasselback style by making vertical cuts about 1/4 inch apart, ensuring you do not cut all the way through. You want it to hold together about 1 inch at the bottom.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced peach, chopped jalapeno, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Carefully stuff the cheese and peach mixture into the slits of the kielbasa. Use a spoon to gently push the mixture down into each cut.
  5. Place the stuffed kielbasa on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the kielbasa is heated through and the edges are crisped.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the Kielbasa on a platter, garnished with additional fresh cilantro and peach slices on the side for a vibrant look. Pair with toothpicks for easy serving!
