Lemon Herb Grilled Shrimp Skewers Flavorful Delight
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 lemons zest and juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, parsley, cilantro, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and gently toss to coat. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it on the stovetop over medium heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp for even grilling.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
