Spicy Delight: How to Make Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 0.5 cup Buffalo sauce
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.25 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 10 pieces egg roll wrappers
- as needed oil vegetable oil for frying
- optional serving ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken and Buffalo sauce, mixing well until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Add the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and chopped green onions to the bowl. Stir until all the ingredients are well blended.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner pointing toward you (like a diamond shape). Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll it tightly towards the top corner. Seal the edge with a little water to ensure it sticks. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- In a large skillet, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the egg rolls in batches, frying until golden brown on each side (about 3-4 minutes per side). Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve the egg rolls warm with your choice of dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese dressing.
💡 Chef's Notes
Adjust the amount of Buffalo sauce to your taste. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
