Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Chicken: Carefully butterfly each chicken breast by slicing it horizontally, but not all the way through, to create a pocket. Stuff each chicken breast with the cheese and bacon mixture, using toothpicks to secure the edges if necessary.

Season the Chicken: Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed chicken breasts and rub it in. Then, brush on half of the BBQ sauce, ensuring they are well coated.

Air Fry the Chicken: Place the stuffed chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Glaze with BBQ Sauce: In the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, brush the remaining BBQ sauce over the chicken to give it a sticky glaze.

Rest and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes. Remove the toothpicks if used.

Garnish and Enjoy: Slice the stuffed chicken and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
