Ingredients

4 cups water

4 tablespoons Thai tea leaves

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup coconut milk (optional for extra richness)

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Once boiling, remove the pot from heat and add the Thai tea leaves. Let it steep for about 5-7 minutes to extract the rich color and flavor.

Strain the tea into a clean pitcher, discarding the leaves.

While the tea is still warm, stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness according to your preference.

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.

To serve, fill a tall glass with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over the ice until it’s about 3/4 full.

Gently layer sweetened condensed milk on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon for a beautiful effect.

Drizzle coconut milk over the top if using, and swirl it gently to create a marbled effect.

Optionally, garnish with fresh mint leaves for added aroma and decoration.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour (including chilling) | Servings: 4 glasses
