Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup vanilla pudding mix

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy cream

¼ cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 package vanilla wafers

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until well combined. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it thickens.

Stir in the vanilla extract and a sprinkle of cinnamon into the pudding mixture. Set aside.

In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form to create a whipped cream.

Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.

In a 9x9 inch dish, start layering by placing a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom.

Add a layer of sliced bananas over the wafers, then spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas.

Repeat the layers, adding more vanilla wafers, slices of banana, and finish with the remaining pudding mixture on top.

Spread the remaining whipped cream over the top layer of pudding to create a fluffy finish.

Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften.

Before serving, dust the top with a light sprinkle of cinnamon and garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch.
