Ingredients

8 oz egg noodles

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/4 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Fill a pot with water, bring it to a boil, and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Blanch the Broccoli: In a pot of boiling water, add the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until vibrant green. Remove and immediately transfer them to an ice bath to stop cooking. Drain well.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the beef broth, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, stirring to combine.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked noodles and blanched broccoli into the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through and absorb the flavors.

Finish Up: Return the cooked beef to the skillet, mixing well. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
