Ingredients

2 cans of crescent roll dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1 cup sour cream

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Fresh berries for topping (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Unroll one can of crescent rolls and lay them flat in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pressing the seams to seal.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Use a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and fluffy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the sour cream and salt until fully incorporated.

Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.

Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and lay them over the cream cheese mixture, pressing down gently to seal.

If desired, sprinkle cinnamon over the top for an added flavor boost.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the casserole to cool for about 10-15 minutes before slicing into squares.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh berries on top. Enjoy!
