Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 tablespoon sweet relish

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 mini hamburger buns

4 lettuce leaves (shredded)

2 slices American cheese, cut in half

2 tablespoons sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet relish, onion powder, and garlic powder until well combined. This will be your special sauce.

Form the Patties: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions (about 2 oz each). Shape each portion into small patties, making them slightly wider than the buns.

Cook the Patties: Heat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip them and cook for an additional 2 minutes. In the last minute of cooking, place half a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.

Toast the Buns: While the cheese is melting, cut the mini hamburger buns in half and lightly toast them on a separate skillet until golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: Start with the bottom half of each bun. Add a layer of shredded lettuce, followed by a cheeseburger patty, a spoonful of the special sauce, and some chopped pickles. Repeat with a second burger patty and top it off with the bun's top half.

Garnish and Serve: Place the assembled burgers on a serving platter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top for added crunch and visual appeal.
