Ingredients

1 large French baguette

1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

2 cups provolone cheese, shredded

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and black pepper to taste

Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, green bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté until soft and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

Push the veggies to the side of the skillet, increase the heat to high, and add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned, stirring frequently.

Drizzle the Worcestershire sauce over the steak and veggies, then season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix everything together and cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat.

Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Evenly distribute the cheesesteak mixture over the bread halves, ensuring it's piled high for maximum indulgence.

Generously sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese over the top, making it as cheesy as you like!

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.

Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before slicing.
