Ingredients

2 cups water

1 tablespoon dried sage leaves

2 tablespoons loose black tea or 2 black tea bags

1 cup fresh blackberries (plus extra for garnish)

2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, such as almond or oat milk)

Ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the Sage Tea: In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the dried sage leaves and black tea. Let it steep for about 5–7 minutes for a strong flavor.

Make the Blackberry Puree: While the tea is steeping, in a blender, combine 1 cup of fresh blackberries and honey (or agave). Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to remove the seeds. Set aside.

Strain the Tea: After steeping, strain the sage and tea mixture through a fine sieve or tea strainer into a large pitcher or bowl to remove the leaves. Let it cool to room temperature.

Assemble the Iced Latte: In a tall glass, add a few ice cubes. Pour in about 1/3 cup of the cooled sage tea and then add 1/3 cup of milk.

Add Blackberry Puree: Gently swirl in the blackberry puree for a beautiful marbled effect. You can adjust the quantity of blackberry puree to taste.

Final Touch: If desired, add a few whole blackberries on top for garnish, and a sage leaf for an aromatic touch.

Serve: Stir gently and enjoy your refreshing Blackberry Sage Iced Tea Latte!
