Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Seafood: Pat the shrimp and salmon dry with paper towels. Season both the shrimp and salmon fillet generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

Sear the Salmon: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillet, searing for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it’s cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.

Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine with the garlic.

Season the Sauce: Add the lemon juice and smoked paprika into the cream sauce. Continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked shrimp and salmon to the skillet, gently stirring to coat them in the garlic cream sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat everything through.

Serve: Remove from heat and transfer the seafood to a serving dish. Drizzle any remaining garlic cream sauce from the skillet over the top.

                - Presentation Tips: Garnish the dish with chopped green onions and fresh parsley for added color. Serve with a side of rice or crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
