Caprese Tortellini Pasta Salad

Ingredients
  

12 oz cheese tortellini

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved

1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

¼ cup balsamic glaze

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes for a kick

Instructions
 

Begin by cooking the tortellini according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse under cold water to cool.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled tortellini, halved cherry tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella.

      Add the chopped basil leaves to the bowl.

        In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic glaze, olive oil, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. If you're using red pepper flakes, add them to the dressing.

          Pour the dressing over the tortellini mixture and gently toss everything together until evenly coated.
