Ingredients

2 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and diced

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for dusting)

Optional: powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Toss to coat evenly and set aside.

On a lightly floured surface, flatten each biscuit dough piece with your hands or a rolling pin until they are about 4 inches in diameter.

In the center of each flattened biscuit, add about 1 tablespoon of the apple mixture and a drizzle of caramel sauce.

Gently fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling, pinching them together to seal (like a pouch). Make sure they are well sealed to avoid spilling during baking.

Place the sealed bombs seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Once baked, let the bombs cool for a few minutes, then drizzle over extra caramel sauce and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 8

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve these bombs warm on a rustic wooden platter, garnished with small bowls of extra caramel sauce for dipping. You can also sprinkle some chopped pecans or crushed graham crackers around for texture and decoration.
