Ingredients

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup milk

1 medium apple (preferably Granny Smith), peeled and diced

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

1 ounce cream cheese, softened

Whipped cream, for topping

Crushed graham crackers, for garnish

Instructions

In a medium skillet over medium heat, combine the diced apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the apples are tender but still hold their shape. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, cooked apple mixture, cream cheese, and ¼ cup of caramel sauce. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Taste and adjust the sweetness, adding more caramel sauce if desired.

Drizzle some caramel sauce inside the serving glasses before pouring in the milkshake mixture.

Pour the milkshake into the prepared glasses.

Top with whipped cream and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce. Sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top for added texture and a nod to the pie crust experience.

Serve immediately with a straw or spoon.
