Ingredients

1 package (12 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup baking soda (for boiling)

1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Coarse sea salt (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.

On a clean surface, unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 12 equal squares.

Take a square of dough and place about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture in the center. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball. Repeat with the remaining dough squares and filling.

In a large pot, bring about 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the baking soda (be cautious, as it will bubble up).

Carefully drop the pretzel bombs (2-3 at a time) into the boiling water and let them boil for 30 seconds. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and place them back on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush each pretzel bomb with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your cheesy pretzel bombs warm!
