Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

6 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon (about 4 slices)

1–2 fresh jalapenos, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped

4 tablespoons butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapenos, chopped chives, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika (if using). Stir until well blended.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into 4 rectangles (two triangles per rectangle, pinched together).

Spread an even amount of the cheese and bacon mixture onto each rectangle, spreading it close to the edges.

Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough to the opposite end, creating a log shape. Pinch the seams to seal well.

Cut each log into 1-inch thick pieces and lay them on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, combine melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the mixture generously over the tops of each twist.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 pieces

                      - Presentation Tips: Arrange the twists on a platter and serve warm, garnished with additional chives or a sprinkle of chili flakes for a pop of color. Offer a side of ranch or creamy dipping sauce for extra flavor!
