Ingredients

2 cups water

2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves or 2 tea bags

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1/2 cup cherry juice (preferably unsweetened)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

Fresh cherries for garnish

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bags. Steep for about 5 minutes, then strain the tea into a large pitcher, discarding the leaves or bags.

Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature, or chill it in the refrigerator for a faster cooling process.

In a separate small saucepan, heat the milk over low heat until warm but not boiling. Stir in the honey or maple syrup until fully dissolved.

Once the tea is cooled, mix in the cherry juice, stirring until well combined.

To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes if desired, and pour in the Cherry Earl Grey mixture until the glass is 3/4 full.

Top off with the warmed milk and stir gently to combine.

Garnish with fresh cherries on top for a beautiful finish.
