Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the package instructions.

Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Starting from the wide end, roll the crescent triangle towards the point, enclosing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.

Arrange the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. These rolls are best enjoyed warm.
