8 ounces high-quality dark chocolate (70% cacao)

4 ounces white chocolate (optional for drizzling)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (for smoother chocolate)

Sea salt (for garnish, optional)

Chopped nuts or sprinkles (optional for toppings)

Prepare the Strawberries: Ensure the strawberries are completely dry after washing, as moisture can prevent the chocolate from properly adhering to the fruit.

    Melt the Dark Chocolate: Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a microwave-safe bowl. Add coconut oil for a smoother consistency. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until fully melted and smooth.

      Dip the Strawberries: Grasp a strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted dark chocolate, swirling to coat about two-thirds of the berry. Allow any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.

        Chill the Coated Strawberries: Place the dipped strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with all strawberries. Chill in the refrigerator for about 15-30 minutes or until the chocolate sets.

          Optional Drizzle with White Chocolate: If using, melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl using the same method as before. Drizzle over the chilled dark chocolate strawberries using a fork or piping bag for a decorative effect.
