Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup rolled oats

Pinch of salt

Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Place the peach halves cut-side up in a baking dish and drizzle melted butter over them.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the peaches, ensuring they are well coated.

Add rolled oats to the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture in the bowl and stir until combined, then sprinkle this oat mixture over the peaches for added texture.

Drizzle the vanilla extract over the entire dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the sugar is bubbling and caramelized.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
