Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (corn, peas, and carrots)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup beef broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring until everything is well combined and heated through.

Spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Layer the frozen tater tots over the meat mixture, making sure they are evenly distributed to cover the entire dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Allow the hotdish to cool slightly before serving.
