Ingredients

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

2 tablespoons matcha powder

1 cup ice cubes

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (plus extra for drizzling)

2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk (or maple syrup for vegan)

1/2 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies

Whipped cream (for topping)

A pinch of sea salt

Cookies for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine the milk, matcha powder, ice cubes, chocolate syrup, and sweetened condensed milk. Blend until smooth and frothy.

Add in the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and pulse the blender a few times to incorporate the cookies while still keeping some chunks for texture.

Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more chocolate syrup or sweetener if needed.

Drizzle chocolate syrup along the inside walls of a tall serving glass for presentation.

Pour the frappe mixture into the glass, filling it about three-quarters full.

Top generously with whipped cream, then sprinkle additional crushed cookies on top for crunch.

Finish with a pinch of sea salt and an extra drizzle of chocolate syrup for a decadent touch.
