Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded

½ cup cooked bacon, chopped (optional)

1 cup spinach, fresh or thawed if frozen

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

6 large pizza dough rounds (store-bought or homemade)

½ cup ranch dressing or creamy garlic dressing

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

2 tablespoons olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, chopped bacon, spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Shape the Dough: Roll out each pizza dough round on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, about 8x6 inches in size. Make sure they are thin but not too fragile.

Fill the Dough: Place a generous scoop of the chicken mixture in the center of each dough rectangle, keeping the filling about 1 inch away from the edges to allow sealing.

Add Dressing: Drizzle a tablespoon of ranch dressing over the filling in each dough piece for extra flavor.

Seal the Chicken Bake: Fold the long edges of the dough over the filling, then fold the shorter edges to seal completely, creating a pocket. Ensure that the filling is completely sealed in to avoid leakage during baking.

Apply Egg Wash: Place the filled doughs seam side down on the lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give a nice golden color when baked.

Drizzle with Olive Oil: Lightly drizzle olive oil over each chicken bake for extra flavor and crispiness.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and the dough is fully cooked.

Serve: Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with additional ranch dressing for dipping if desired.
