Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

8 oz medium shell pasta

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the shell pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Create the Sauce: Stir in the beef broth, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and dried Italian herbs. Mix well until the cream cheese is fully melted and integrated, creating a creamy sauce.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked shell pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat the pasta evenly in the creamy beef sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Finish with Cheese: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Scoop the creamy beef and shells onto plates or into bowls. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color.
