Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 medium carrots, diced

2 stalks celery, diced

4 cups beef broth

2 medium potatoes, diced

1 cup frozen peas

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic, diced carrots, and celery to the pot. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in the diced potatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Add the frozen peas and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley on top.
