Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add the peeled shrimp to the skillet, season with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and are just cooked through. Remove from heat.

In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Add the sautéed shrimp and garlic mixture to the bowl, stirring gently to coat the shrimp in the creamy mixture.

Transfer the shrimp mixture to a baking dish (about 8x8 inches) and spread it evenly.

In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, melted butter, and the remaining Parmesan cheese. Mix well. Sprinkle this mixture evenly on top of the shrimp in the baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy and the sauce is bubbling around the sides.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
