Ingredients

1 large pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled

1/2 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced (red and green)

1/4 cup black olives, sliced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape (about 12x16 inches).

Layer fillings: Evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Follow with the pepperoni, crumbled sausage, bell peppers, and black olives.

Season it up: Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the top of the fillings for added flavor.

Roll it: Starting from one of the shorter sides, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log shape. Pinch the seams to seal and tuck the ends underneath the Stromboli to prevent any filling from leaking out.

Egg wash: Brush the outside of the Stromboli with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Score the top: Using a sharp knife, make 3-4 diagonal slashes on top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape during baking.

Season and Bake: Lightly drizzle olive oil and sprinkle flaky sea salt on top. Place the Stromboli on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Cool & serve: Allow the Stromboli to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
